ICAR-IIAB Campus

The ICAR-IIAB campus encompasses three closely located sub-campuses (Farm A, B & D) spread over 122 acres. The land sizes of Farm A, Farm B and Farm D are 49.95, 54.31, and 17.29 acres, respectively. The main campus (Farm A) is close to the Ranchi Ring Road and is about 14 km from Birsa Munda Airport and 17 km from Ranchi Railway Station. Currently, ICAR-IIAB operates from Farm B, which houses (1) Crop Research & Training Centre, (2) Livestock Research & Training Centre, (3) Fishery Research & Training Centre, and (4) Agri-Business Incubation Centre. It has well-equipped laboratories for biotechnology research and modern facilities for teaching and training in each training centre. This sub-campus has been developed with intricate planning to ensure that nature is maintained at its splendid best.
