Wet Lab and Ponds

Forty-six fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) tanks have been procured for taking up experimental trials related to fisheries research at ICAR-IIAB. In addition, a rainwater harvesting structure present in the Farm A of ICAR-IIAB has been renovated and converted into a fish pond. The pond was stocked with 2500 Catlacatla and Labeorohita fries to monitor its survival, growth performance and health condition in the pond environment.
